The Story of GuruShree

From an Akhada in a school lane — to guiding thousands worldwide

The Beginning

It began in a school lane. A young boy heard sounds of an akhada — wrestlers, malkhamb, discipline. Curiosity pulled him in. There sat Guruji — an elder, a master. He welcomed the boy with warmth and introduced him to the true science of Yoga.

This was no private institute. It was a Gurukul — free for all, running on donations. No fees were charged. In return, no certificate was given. Only the Guru's blessing — and a lifetime of knowledge.

The Detour:
Life took GuruShree into theatre, Nukkad Nataks, Ramlila, Krishna Leela — and eventually into the film industry. As an actor, music director, and lyricist — he wore many hats. But the Guru's words stayed:

'Whatever you do — never forget. Health is above everything. Pehla sukh — nirogee kaaya.'

The Crisis & The Miracle:

Then came the darkest night. Kidney stones - 7½mm, 5½mm, 4½mm. Unbearable pain. No money for surgery. A painkiller injection at midnight and a memory.

Guruji's voice returned. The practice from the akhada returned.

Without surgery. Without medicine. Through Yoga alone the stones dissolved. Both kidneys healed completely.

That night changed everything.

The Mission:

If I can heal myself - I can heal others.

This became the mission. Quietly, consistently - GuruShree began sharing Yoga. In the beginning, no fees were demanded. Just knowledge, freely given - the way it was received.

But the universe has its own way of giving back.

Those who benefited gave from their hearts - dakshina, gratitude, and generous support. The community grew. The trust grew. And over 22 years — thousands of lives were touched.

Physical, mental, financial, social and spiritual — five pillars strengthened. One life at a time.

The Birth of WealthyYog:

In every class, every session — GuruShree saw one common struggle: financial stress.

Jobs lost. Inflation rising. Dreams shrinking.

'I can teach health. But what about wealth?'

The answer was WealthyYog — a movement designed to give people not just physical freedom, but financial freedom. A community where right health, right mindset and right income grow together.

The journey continues. The mission expands. And every person who joins this community takes one step closer to the life they deserve.
